I’m setting off on a backpacking trip around the world, and I need to pack light! The question is: what do I take with me? Here’s what I’ve decided on for my bed bug travel kit.

A sarong is an easy way to keep cool while traveling in hot countries like Thailand or Spain during the summer months. It’s perfect for beaches when you don’t want to put on sunscreen all over again after swimming but still need some protection from the sun’s rays (and from sand).

Backpack with Rain Cover

When selecting a backpack for your travel kit, look for one around the size of a small suitcase. This is ideal if you’re only traveling with a few items or for short trips. Also, consider purchasing a rain cover for your bag as this can protect everything inside from getting wet in case it rains or snows while you’re out and about.

Keep in mind that packing light will save you money on airfare because airlines charge extra fees to check baggage. When choosing how to pack your backpack, be sure not to overdo it with heavy items such as textbooks (which can be purchased locally if needed), toiletries and electronics (which can also be rented by locals). Instead, opt for lightweight clothing options like t-shirts and shorts that can easily dry overnight if they get wet during the day’s activities!

If possible try not bringing any valuables along with you on this trip because they may not survive another round through an X-ray machine at security checkpoints. A phone charger is simply the cord that connects to a wall socket so you can recharge your phone’s battery without having to worry about running out of power while traveling. It’s important to carry one of these with you at all times in case there isn’t an available outlet at your destination or if your device runs out of juice before you reach home again (and also because who wants their phone dying on them during their trip?).

• Wear a scarf to cover your neck and mouth. This will prevent bed bugs from crawling up your nose, which is an important thing to keep in mind when traveling.
