Although these rats are large, they are quiet and gentle animals that make great pets for both children and adults alike. The French mohave will often groom themselves after eating or drinking water, so you may notice that their fur looks oily or shiny when it’s freshly washed (this is normal).

FOX-RATS (GERMAN TRICOLOR, SOVIET GREY, BLACK, ETC.)

Fox-Rats are one of the most popular rat breeds in the world. They are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and affection. They are also highly intelligent animals who can be taught to do tricks. These rats have been known to be trained as service animals in some countries. Fox-Rats usually live 2-3 years in captivity, but some have lived up to 4 years old.
