DuPont – Clorotalonil 75WP Fungicide

While the control of rice blast is usually achieved by using a combination of Thiophanate-methyl and Azoxystrobin, Clorotalonil 75WP Fungicide can also be used effectively. Clorotalonil 75WP Fungicide is a systemic fungicide that acts both on spores and mycelia, which results in faster growth inhibition than most non-systemic chemistries. This product provides excellent control of rice blast and powdery mildew.

United Phosphorus – Polyram 800 FS Fungicide

Polyram 800 FS Fungicide is a fungicide that contains carbendazim and mancozeb as active ingredients. It is used to control various diseases caused by pathogens such as Alternaria, Botrytis cinerea, Drechslera spp., Monilia fructigena and Rhizoctonia solani.

Carbendazim is a broad spectrum fungicide that inhibits spore germination and growth of fungi by binding to fungal tubulin proteins in the mitotic spindle apparatus causing missegregation of chromosomes during division. Mancobzil also inhibits cell division by forming complexes with microtubules which are essential for mitotic division.
