These products are easy to make and are made of natural ingredients. This means you can also use them even if you have pets or small children that may accidentally consume any of the pesticides. There are a number of natural home remedies which can be used to eradicate any bad insects from your garden. There are also a number of pesticides and insecticides available in the market which come without any harmful ingredients. In fact, these pesticides are so good that they have received certification from leading environmental organizations.

Natural Pesticide For Veggie Garden

1 tb. of liquid dish soap

1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap is the right amount. You’ll need to use less than what’s recommended because it’s only safe for plants (and people, who apparently can eat anything). The rest of your vegetables and fruit are going to die if you don’t dilute the soap with water!

It’s important to know that dish soap isn’t toxic to insects. It’s toxic for some, but not all of them—in fact, some pests actually love it! Soap can kill aphids and some larvae without hurting bees or butterflies (although I wouldn’t recommend spraying your entire garden with it).

1 tsp. of cayenne pepper

• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Don’t spray on flowers or fruits that you plan to eat.
• Don’t spray during peak sunlight hours. Spray when the sun is lower in the sky or not out at all, ideally around sunset or sunrise for maximum effectiveness.
• Don’t spray on windy days—you’ll end up spraying your yard instead of your garden! Wind can also blow away some pesticides before they can do their job properly, so it’s best to use natural pesticides on calm days only. If you must use a pesticide in windy weather, make sure that the plants are protected by covering them with sheeting or plastic sheeting prior to application (but keep an eye out for signs that pests are still there after they’ve been sprayed).
• Don’t overuse natural pesticides since they can be harmful if too much gets absorbed into a plant’s leaves at one time; this is especially true if your plants have been damaged by animals like rodents (rodents love cayenne pepper!). It’s best practice not to overdo anything you put onto your plants unless under professional advice from someone like me 🙂

• This is not a pesticide. It is used to dissolve the cayenne pepper.
• Hot water will not kill pests, but it does improve the efficacy of liquid dish soap and essential oils. (It also makes your hands feel weird.)

Mix in a spray bottle and spray on your garden

Mix the following ingredients in a spray bottle:

• 2 tablespoons baking soda
• 1 tablespoon cornmeal
• 1 quart water (not distilled)

Spray on plant leaves when pests are present

• Use a pump-up sprayer or manual atomizer to apply the solution to plant leaves.
• Do not spray on windy days, as this can cause significant drift and damage to non-target areas.
• The insecticide should remain on the leaves for at least four hours before rain occurs; however, if you are growing in an area that receives heavy rainfall regularly, it is recommended that you reapply this product every seven days.
