Ants can be tricky to kill because you need to locate the colony so you know where to put the borax. If you don’t find the queen, it won’t do any good. Treating the entire colony will take time.

Here are some basic tips:

• Place a single line of Borax near their nest or on their trail.
• Place multiple lines of Borax around the perimeter of an infested area (e.g., kitchen) so that all ants will have to pass through them in order to reach food sources outside of this area. This will prevent them from finding other sources of food within your home or apartment building until all ants are eliminated from these areas!

Remove Borax When It Stops Working.

If you find that the borax is no longer working, it’s time to take out the ants’ food source. Do this by placing a thick layer of Borax in their path. If they eat it and die, then they won’t be able to feed their colony. The rest of your ant problem will probably go away soon after!
