Bed Bug Contract
A bed bug contract is a legally binding agreement between the parties to the contract. In order to have a valid and enforceable contract, it must be in writing. The elements necessary for a written contract include: (1) offer by one party, (2) acceptance by another party, and (3) mutual consideration or benefit received by both parties. If you are considering hiring an exterminator or pest control company for bed bug treatment services, it is important that you read any contracts carefully before signing them. Carefully review all terms and conditions so that you fully understand what you’re agreeing to pay for as well as what rights may be granted or taken away from either side during the term of your agreement.
For good and valuable consideration, (hereafter called Corporation) and (the Owner), agree to the following terms and conditions for the treatment of bed bugs.

The contract must be in writing.
The consideration is the exchange of money for a service. It must be something of value, legally recognized as such, and delivered voluntarily by both parties to a contract as an inducement or reward for performance. The consideration can be either tangible or intangible—like an agreement not to sue someone who has wronged you, or your promise to help them move into their new home if they pay your moving expenses upfront.
Corporation will treat the owner’s home or apartment on the date of January 1, 2020.
The contract should include the following:
- The location of the infestation.
- The date that treatment will occur.
- A guarantee that services will be provided as stated in the contract.
- A guarantee that future infestations will be prevented, if possible and reasonable, including: * Pest control treatments (if needed). * Additional maintenance visits to check for pests or damage caused by pests after initial treatment is complete.
If a lease agreement is involved, it should also state whether or not you have permission to enter your home or apartment to perform treatments at any time without prior notice and regardless of who else may be present inside said residence–and if so, how much advance notice will be required before an employee arrives on site. If there is no lease agreement involved in this process then you’ll need to consider having some other means for communicating with your landlord about when he/she would like us to perform treatment procedures within their property; this could take place through phone calls from both parties as well as emails between them too!
If an infestation should reoccur within 30 days of service, Corporation will retreat the property at no cost to owner.
- In the event of a reoccurrence, Corporation will return to treat the property at no cost to owner.
- Owner will be given a refund of the cost of the initial treatment.
- Owner agrees to cooperate with any instructions given prior, during or after treatment by Corporation staff.
Owner agrees that they have been provided with a copy of various tips to reduce the chance of recontamination as well as other best practices to prevent future infestations. Owner also agrees that they have been properly informed about the products being used and potential health risks involved if handled improperly.
- You agree to cooperate with any instructions given prior, during or after treatment by Corporation staff.
- You agree not to touch or remove any bed bug dust, gel, or other products placed in the premises.
- You agree not disturb any bed bug traps or other traps used for monitoring purposes.

- Owner should not be present during treatment.
