Dried herbs are wonderful. For one thing, they are easy to find and keep – you can usually find them in any grocery store (or online) and they don’t spoil as quickly as fresh herbs.

Also, dried herbs can be used for both cooking and medicine. Dried herbs are more potent than fresh ones – with fresh herbs, about three times the amount is needed for the same effect. On the other hand, dried herbs can be easily ground up into a powder form using a mortar and pestle or another grinding device and then put into capsules – perfect! Plus there is no waiting time while they dry out like there is with fresh herbs.

Once you have the mixture ready, use a gloved hand or paper towel to apply it generously to your mattress and around your bedroom.

Before going to sleep, you can apply it all over your body as well. It will keep bed bugs from biting you while you sleep.

Do not apply this lotion to your clothes, shoes, or blankets. It won’t do anything, and will just make them smell bad! Also, don’t use this lotion on any part of your skin if you are allergic to any of its ingredients!

The smell from rubbing alcohol mimics this type of food source with its sweetness while at the same time repelling insects due to its strong scent that they dislike.”
