Ingredients
All you need to make this repellent is a 1/4 cup of pure witch hazel, a 1/4 cup of water, 10 drops each of lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus and citronella essential oils.
Optional Essential Oils for more repellency
If you have a baby, it’s important to be careful about which essential oils you use. Lavender and citronella are both safe for babies. Citronella is also safe for children 3 years old and older.
If you’d like to make this recipe with essential oils, just add 1 drop of each of the following: lavender, citronella, lemon eucalyptus or peppermint (only one at a time).
Instructions
- Mix the ingredients in a spray bottle. Shake well before each use
