Baby Powder Fleas
I was told that if you sprinkle baby powder on a flea and it doesn’t move, then it is dead.
You can try this method for yourself. To do so, you will need:
- Baby powder (4-6 tablespoons)
- An adult flea
Once you have your supplies, follow these steps:
- Sprinkle baby powder on the flea in question and watch to see if it moves. If it doesn’t move, congratulations! The flea is dead! You may proceed with celebrating by playing your favorite song at top volume while dancing around your apartment until you realize that perhaps this wasn’t such a great idea after all when some of your neighbors begin yelling at you through their windows. Don’t worry too much about them–they probably had it coming anyway for being so rude about your music tastes. However, if the flea does start moving around again after having been sprinkled with baby powder (or baking soda), then we’re afraid its time has not yet come—you’ll need to try again tomorrow night when the moon is full and hovering directly overhead like an eyeball staring down at our planet from outer space…if only we knew what to do then…
How do you know when a flea is dead?
