Bed Bug Home Remedy Removal

Clove Oil

To kill bed bugs on contact, mix 2-3 drops of clove oil with a teaspoon of water and apply it to the mattress with a cotton ball. You can also make your own bed bug spray by mixing 10-15 drops of clove oil with an ounce of rubbing alcohol or witch hazel. Spray this mixture all over your mattress and box spring, paying special attention to seams and crevices where eggs are likely to be hiding.

To keep bed bugs off your body while you sleep, dab some clove oil behind each earlobe before going to bed at night. The strong scent will repel any insects that try to crawl onto you during the night.

Lavender Oil

Lavender oil is a natural and effective way to kill bed bugs. It can be used for many different purposes, including aromatherapy, cleaning, and medicinal use. Lavender oil kills bed bugs in two ways: by suffocating them, or by repelling them once they come into contact with it.

You can use lavender oil as part of your home remedy removal process by adding a few drops of lavender essential oil to 1 cup of water in a spray bottle. Spray this mixture all over mattresses and furniture that have been infested with bed bugs as well as along baseboards where bed bugs may be hiding during the day. You may also want to spray some on yourself since these pests are attracted to human scents such as sweat! To keep those pesky critters away from you while sleeping at night, add three tablespoons of baking soda with one tablespoon each water and lavender essential oils into a bowl then mix well until no clumps remain before sprinkling onto your sheets every night before going to sleep! You’ll wake up rested without being bitten by any pesky insects as long as you don’t forget about using this home remedy every night after washing off your sheets first thing in morning!

Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is a natural and effective way to rid your home of bed bugs. Peppermint oil can be used in many different ways:

• Spray it directly on the bug using a spray bottle.
• Apply it with a cotton ball for hard-to-reach areas.
• Use it in combination with other essential oils such as lavender or eucalyptus to make your mixture more potent.

When applying peppermint oil, you will want to seal up any areas where the insects are hiding by putting pieces of tape over cracks and crevices in your furniture or walls so that they have nowhere to go once they have been sprayed down with this natural remedy for bed bugs. Be sure not to apply too much peppermint oil at once because doing so may cause irritation if inhaled or touched by humans or pets!

Eucalyptus Oil

• Put eucalyptus oil on a cotton ball, and place it in your shoes. This will make it so the bugs cannot hide from the scent of eucalyptus.
• Place it in a vacuum-sealed bag. This will prevent them from escaping when you put them in there to kill them.
• Put eucalyptus oil in a diffuser, which will keep them away for up to 10 hours at a time!
• Spray around your home wherever you think there may be bed bugs hiding or trying to get inside of your house/apartment/mansion (etc.).

Thyme Oil

Thyme Oil is extracted from the flowering tops of Thymus vulgaris plants. Steam distillation is used to extract the essential oil from fresh thyme leaves and flowers. The oil contains several monoterpenes (eugenol, linalool, thymol and carvacrol) as well as sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (beta-caryophyllene).

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is another bed bug home remedy that can be used to treat an infestation. This natural ingredient helps to kill off the bed bugs and also repels them, preventing new ones from entering your home.

Although tea tree oil is considered safe for humans and pets, it’s important that you use only a few drops in order to avoid damaging your belongings. If you have sensitive skin or have allergies to certain oils, then this may not be an option for you as well.

Cayenne Pepper

You can also use cayenne pepper to get rid of bed bugs.

First, make a paste of the cayenne pepper and water and apply it directly to the affected area. Leave it on for several hours before wiping off.

Lemon Juice

You can make a natural spray with lemon juice and water, which will kill any bed bugs that come into contact with it.

• Mix 2 parts of lemon juice to 1 part water in a spray bottle.
• Spray the mixture on your sheets, mattress and other furniture that you suspect has been infected by bed bugs.
• If you have an infestation in your closet or drawers, spray them as well! Be sure to wipe down any items that are exposed to the mixture before using them again so as not to spread any “sauce” around your home!

Use these essential oils to remove bed bugs.

• Combine 2 tablespoons of lavender oil and 5 tablespoons of carrier oil.
• Spray directly on bed bug infestation spots, and repeat until you’re satisfied with the results. Also try spraying this mixture on your sheets to help kill off eggs that may have fallen off of your body while you sleep.

This mixture is also effective against other insects, such as ticks or spiders, so don’t be afraid to use it for other pests in the house!
