This mosquito deterrent spray uses a patented blend of essential oils that prevents mosquitoes from biting, feeding on you and your family members. The ingredients are all natural and safe for both humans and pets.
Ingredients include cinnamon oil, lemongrass oil, citronella oil, cedarwood oil, eucalyptus globulus leaf oil and thyme oil. It comes in a 2 oz bottle with an 8 oz refill option as well as 4 oz refills for use with the Bug Away Backyard Bug Repellent Dispenser (both sold separately).
To get started: Spray yourself down with this product before going outside or up into an attic space where you’ll be exposed to many insects carrying dangerous diseases like West Nile Virus or Zika Fever while you clean out some cobwebs or repair damage caused by recent storms in your backyard area! Choose distilled water if you’re using tap water. Boil the water to kill germs and bacteria. You’ll need 2 ounces of water per spray bottle, so make sure to buy enough bottles and fill them up ahead of time!
25 drops lemon eucalyptus essential oil (p-menthane-3,8-diol)
In a large glass measuring cup, add 25 drops of lemon eucalyptus essential oil.
In a small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons water and 1 teaspoon jojoba oil. Add this to the glass measuring cup with your essential oils and mix well.
Add 10 drops of vitamin E oil to your mixture (optional—this will help it stay fresh longer) and stir again before pouring into an empty spray bottle or other container for storage.
25 drops geranium essential oil (pelargonium graveolens)
Geranium essential oil has a sweet, floral aroma and is known to be astringent, hemostatic, cicatrizant, cytophylactic (stimulating cell division), diuretic, deodorant, haemostatic (stops bleeding), styptic (clotting agent), tonic (tones and strengthens organs or systems of the body), vermifuge (destroys worms in the intestines) and vulnerary (heals wounds).
