Could you even have them if you don’t live in an area that has been affected by these critters (which are not just found in developing countries, as many people may think)? Or does something else look like bed bug bites? If you’re having these kinds of questions and concerns, read this article to find out more. But now we have more options. Could it be mosquito bites? Or is it herpes? When I got this email from a reader named Angela, I knew I had to help her. She didn’t know what the red spots were and was desperate for an answer.

In some cases, topical creams or lotions may be prescribed to reduce inflammation and itching.
