- Thoroughly cleaning your home before treatment begins (even if you aren’t currently seeing any signs of bed bugs). Remove all clutter from rooms where furniture will be treated; this includes stuffed animals and anything else that can’t withstand high temperatures without being damaged or destroyed.
- Pack clothes away in plastic bags to prevent them from becoming saturated with any residual moisture left over after the heating process has ended.
