Are you looking for protection against Bed Bugs? Are you tired of those expensive pest applications that leave your home smelling toxic? Well, the search is over! I have had bed bug problems for many years and I have tried every chemical and toxic solution out there with no success. Permethrin has been a miracle for me and it is one of the strongest insecticides available at the moment. With bed bugs and other pests increasing over the years many people look for things they can use to get rid of them. There are countless products available on the market that people use to help get rid of these pests, but not all of them are created equal. There is one product that has made quite a name for itself in this regard, and it is called Permethrin.
Bed Bug Spray Permethrin
Introduction
While bed bugs are generally not known to carry diseases, their bites can cause an allergic reaction and inflame skin. There are different active ingredients in various sprays, but one of the most common is permethrin. What’s the best solution? Let’s explore.
Bed Bug Spray Permethrin
Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. It is commonly used for both agricultural and domestic purposes. It is a contact and stomach poison for insects, spiders, ticks, mites, lice and other arthropods that come into direct contact with it. Permethrin works by disrupting the nervous system of pests after they have come into direct contact with it. When sprayed onto bedding or other surfaces that bedbugs walk across they will be repelled by the chemical compound in permethrin making it harder for them to find food sources or mates when outside of their hiding places. Although this means you won’t see immediate results after spraying your home it will help prevent infestations from occurring should any bugs wander into your home on accident while trying to find food sources elsewhere in your neighborhood!
Permethrin can also be administered orally if ingested by pests (such as cockroaches) however this method is not recommended since there are better ways like using sprays instead because ingesting large amounts at once could cause death within hours due to toxicity levels being too high resulting in organ failure within those animals passing away before any symptomology would show symptoms signifying what may have caused such an event happening unexpectedly.”
How does it work?
Permethrin is a neurotoxin that affects the nervous system of insects.
Permethrin works by disrupting the sodium channels in the insect’s nervous system. It does not have an effect on humans or other mammals, as it cannot cross from one species to another.
Permethrin should not be confused with pyrethrins, which are often found in over-the-counter sprays and are registered pesticides. Pyrethrins are derived from flowers and can kill bed bugs by causing them to stop feeding and die within 24 hours if they come into direct contact with it; however, permethrin has been shown to last longer than pyrethroid insecticides so you’ll still need to reapply after each treatment period (usually three weeks). Its effectiveness against bed bugs is thought to be related to its ability to block ion channels in nerve cells where sodium ions enter across cell membranes; disruptions of sodium channels cause breakdowns in nerve impulses requiring neural circuitry for proper functioning without leading directly towards an irreversible state where nerves cease functioning altogether
What is Permethrin?
Permethrin is a synthetic chemical compound. It’s also a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. Permethrin is a man-made version of pyrethrum, which comes from the flowers of Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium and related species. Pyrethrum has been used for centuries as an insecticide but it’s toxic to people and pets so its use has been restricted in the United States since 1979.
Permethrin is effective against most flying insects including mosquitoes, lice, ticks, fleas and mites. It works by paralyzing the nervous system of insects so they can no longer move normally or breathe properly – eventually leading to death within 24-48 hours depending on how much they were exposed to it initially (the more exposure means quicker death). Because permethrin targets nerve cells instead of muscle tissue like other insecticides do there are fewer side effects like skin irritation or damage to other organs such as kidneys or liver even if someone accidentally touches their eyes after using this product without proper precautions taken beforehand (more details below).
Products containing permethrin
Permethrin is found in many products and is a common ingredient in pest control products. For example, it can be used to fight mosquitos and other insects.
It’s not just for bed bugs, it works for other pests as well.
Permethrin is not just for bed bugs. It is a pesticide that works to kill insects that live on the outside of buildings and structures. You may have heard of it being used in many products such as DEET, but permethrin is also found in many other insect repellents as an active ingredient. The most common example of this would be when you spray your dog with a flea/tick spray or some brands of ant killer.
Permethrin will kill fleas, ticks and lice and other insects like mosquitoes and ants too!
Conclusion
Hopefully, you now know everything you need to know about applying permethrin spray. Remember, this is not a one-time deal. You need to be sure to re-apply every 1-3 months in order to ensure that your bed bug problem is eliminated and stays eliminated!
