How Do Cockroaches

I’ve been asked by a lot of people recently, “What type of methods do roaches use to get in your houses and apartments?” This is a popular topic for some reason. You see, no one likes cockroaches. They aren’t very nice insects. Okay, I’m going to be honest here…they really really really, really suck!  They spread diseases, they poop everywhere, and their bodies are revolting (those backs and all).  I wish they would just go away! I find it interesting that people are so interested in what methods they use to get into our houses though; I take this as a good thing. It means that there is interest in how we keep them out of our houses. At least I hope it’s innocent enough to assume that people care about our homes and we aren’t just talking about the roaches here. They can talk on their own!  When I was younger they had an infomercial for Hungry Jack Roach Motels where these roaches would sing about how much they liked their new home! There was also the infamous “Cock-A-Doodle Do” guy who was a cockroach who sang about how much he

How Do Cockroaches Get In Your House

You probably know how to get rid of cockroaches. But did you know that there are several ways cockroaches can get into your house? If you’re curious about how these pesky pests get into your house and how to prevent them from coming inside, then keep reading!

How Do Cockroaches Get In Your House

Cockroaches can enter your home in three major ways: through gaps under doors, through holes in pipes and drains, or through cracks in windowsills. These are the most common entry points for cockroaches in homes. But sometimes they can even squeeze through cracks as small as one quarter inch wide! That’s why it’s important to check all potential entry points before they become a problem.

How Do Cockroaches Get In Your House If you’re noticing cockroaches in your house, you’ve probably wondered how they got in there.

The answer is simple: they came from somewhere else.

Cockroaches are most likely to enter your home through small cracks or openings near the foundation of the building. They may also enter through sewer pipes or other subterranean access points.

However, if you have a pet that’s been outside for long periods of time, it’s possible for them to bring cockroaches into the house on their fur or paws. This is especially true if your pet spends time in a wooded area where cockroaches are common.

The best way to keep a cockroach out of your house is to keep them out of your house.

Okay, we know that’s not the most helpful advice—but it’s the truth. There are a lot of things that cockroaches need to get in your home and reproduce, so if you can stop those things from happening, then you’re really doing everything you can to keep cockroaches out of your house.

There are some things, though, that are easier said than done. For example, if there are cracks in the foundation or gaps between boards or bricks, then there’s no way to stop them from getting in through those spots. But there are things you can do when they do get in:

-Keep food in airtight containers

-Keep garbage cans covered

-Keep pet dishes clean

-Make sure your vents aren’t clogged (this is especially important if you live in an apartment building)
