Ingredients

To make your own organic mosquito repellent, you’ll need:

• 5 tablespoons of coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon of clove oil
• 1/4 cup of witch hazel (alcohol can be used instead if you have it)

For this recipe, you’ll need 4 tablespoons of lavender essential oil, 1 cup of distilled water or witch hazel (make sure it’s not scented!), 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel or lotion (I recommend that you use a brand without artificial fragrances), an empty spray bottle (I recommend these 16-ounce bottles from Amazon), a funnel (optional).
