This Site Might Help You. RE: Lyme Disease from Fleas? My dog has been diagnosed with Lyme disease and it is now getting worse. We live in a heavily wooded area, how do I know if fleas are making her sick?
Did you know that fleas are considered to be one of the most important vectors that transmit human diseases? According to research, 1,000 people will develop Lyme disease each day, and about 20% of them will find themselves on the verge of death. Lyme disease is one of the major sicknesses that pose a threat to health; however, it can be prevented by protecting yourself from fleas.
Fleas are tiny black creatures often lumped with their relatives, ticks and spiders. It’s sometimes difficult to make a distinction between a tick and a flea, because they are similar in structure. Both carry disease causing pathogens, including the Lyme disease that is often associated with flea bites. Lyme disease symptoms can also come from other animals and environmental factors, but most people are exposed to the infection through fleas.
Spring is in the air, and all of the animals are getting their minds turned toward love. When we think about the animal kingdom and its proclivity for orgiastic behavior, it’s difficult not to observe that a good chunk of these creatures have really long genitalia. But too often, when we think about genitalia – especially long ones – we forget to consider how they should be managed; after all, do they contain enough lubrication? Is something getting pinched? Are they too long to clean? In this article, I’ll examine how you can maintain the proper levels of hygiene for your animals’ penises and show you how to prevent any potential discomfort in both humans and animals alike.

Lyme Disease From Fleas
Lyme disease is caused by a bacterial infection spread by ticks. The bacteria that causes Lyme disease is called Borrelia burgdorferi and is the only species of Borrelia that can cause the disease. Ticks are small insects that feed on blood. They can be found in tall grasses, leaf litter, shrubs, and ground cover in wooded or brushy areas.
The most common type of tick that spreads Lyme disease is called an Ixodes tick. These ticks are commonly known as deer ticks. Deer ticks are tiny (no bigger than the size of a poppy seed), brownish-red ticks with black legs. Deer ticks cannot jump like other types of ticks do; instead they climb up grasses and shrubs to find a host to feed on. Deer ticks prefer feeding on large animals such as deer, but they will also bite humans if given the chance. In fact, approximately 300,000 people are diagnosed each year with Lyme disease in the United States alone!
