Step 1

There are some essential steps to follow before you begin.

• Make sure you have all the ingredients for your remedy on hand, as well as a pair of gloves and an apron if possible.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before starting the process, since this is a natural remedy that involves handling raw meat and fruits/vegetables with pesticides (or in this case, wasp venom).

Step 2

After you have washed the area, apply a small amount of vinegar to the stung area. Do not apply if the area is bleeding, pus-filled, swollen or hot.

Use a clean cotton ball or Q-tip to apply the solution.

• If you have an ice pack, place it on the affected area for about 5 minutes.
• If you don’t have an ice pack, you can use a bag of frozen vegetables wrapped in a thin towel to achieve the same effect. You may need to repeat this step several times if the wasp sting is still painful.
