Natural Solutions For Fleas

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a natural flea repellent that can be used on dogs, cats and humans. It can be used as a natural dip for your dog or cat to repel fleas. If you’re having trouble getting rid of the fleas in your home, try spraying apple cider vinegar around the perimeter of your house. You can also give yourself or your pets a bath using apple cider vinegar as a shampoo or bath additive.

For humans: If you’ve been bitten by fleas and have an itchy rash from it, soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and apply directly to the bite area. The itching should subside after about five minutes of soaking up the acidity from apple cider vinegar onto your skin! For smaller bites on humans it’s not necessary but if you have larger bites or multiple bites then this remedy really works!

Lemon Flea Spray

Lemon flea spray is a natural solution that can be used to combat fleas on your dog or cat. This spray is made from lemon essential oil, which smells like lemons and kills the fleas when sprayed directly on them. The lemon scent will also blend well with any other natural scents you want to use for pest control in your home.

You will need:

• A spray bottle (with a fine-mist nozzle)
• Water (distilled or filtered)
• Lemon essential oil

Cedar Oil

Cedar oil is a natural insect repellent that can be used to repel fleas, mosquitoes and other pests from your home. It is safe for pets and people, and it can be used on furniture, carpets and bedding.

Lavender
