Fleas are a type of insect that survives on warm blood. What do fleas love most? Warm blood. As we are on the threshold of summer, I thought it would be the right time to talk about how to deal with fleas in your yard and house. Outdoor fleas are an infestation of a small wingless bloodsucking insect that lives outside and is therefore not native to our homes. These insects tend to lay their eggs just before the winter so that when the cold weather comes they hatch but do not have to worry about predators. Their eggs will lie dormant until there is enough moisture in the soil and then hatch in the early spring.
Outdoor Fleas
Outdoor fleas are a problem for many homeowners. They can be seen on the ground, in the grass, and even on your cat or dog. 1. Keep your grass short, but not too short—you want to keep the pests from hiding in long grasses or mulch.
