As American children, we were all victims of television based animation. I still remember flipping through the channels on Saturday mornings, watching Looney Tunes, Tazmania, Peter Cottontail and of course the Looney Toons.  You can’t really forget about oggy and the cockroaches either. In fact, I’m pretty sure that’s one show I’ll never be able to get out of my head. The roaches are small green insects that talk like humans but act like cockroaches (hence their name). They are led by Nigel Pinchley III or Nasty Nigel as he is called by most people including himself; Nasty Nigel has an English accent (he was born in England) but has never been seen speaking any other language than English nor heard speaking anything else besides English when he talks to other characters.

Oggie’s little sister Dee Dee is a white bunny, who adores her big brother but she often gets angry when Oggie does something stupid. She also has a lovely voice for singing. She also adores adorable things such as kittens and puppies.

Mimi is a yellow cat and Oggie’s neighbor, she is also the horniest of all the female characters on the show. She has many admirers because of her beauty, including Joey in seasons 1-2 and Marky in seasons 3-5. Sometimes she can show anger towards Oggie but is always willing to help him whenever he needs it. She also likes her hair being stroked and she blows kisses to Joey when he talks to her which always causes him to faint out of love for her.

The series is about Oggie, a blue cat living in an apartment with his little sister Dee Dee and their dog Bug. The plot revolves around Oggie’s never-ending struggle against three evil (and rather idiotic) cockroaches named Marky, Deedee and Joey.
