In addition, if you want something that lasts longer than 8 hours then use powdered sugar instead–it’ll last about 24 hours longer than regular granulated table sugar does!

While we’re on the subject though, I’ve found that adding some shortening or vegetable oil will help keep ants from clinging onto your homemade remedy once they find it!

After mixing everything together really well so there aren’t any clumps left behind, transfer it into whatever containers work best for where you’ll be placing your bait stations. You could also pour it into an old yogurt container if you wanted something with less surface area exposed; however mine were too shallow so I had trouble getting large amounts inside without spilling! If possible try not putting anything in here unless absolutely necessary because every little bit helps when trying out new methods like this one — even if only slightly 🙂
