• Pour one quart of apple cider vinegar into a spray bottle or mister filled with water (50/50). Shake well before using!

Boric acid powder can be used as a natural repellent to deter frogs from entering your home. Boric acid is a naturally occurring substance, but it’s also known for its strong smell.

Laundry detergent

You can use laundry detergent to repel frogs. We’ve all read or heard that they’re attracted to the smell of laundry detergent, but you’ll have a hard time finding evidence of this. Instead, try placing a bowl of water with some soap in it outside your home overnight and see if the frogs come to investigate. If not, put out an empty bowl as well so you can compare how many frogs visit each one over time.

If nothing else works for you, try using dishwashing liquid instead of laundry detergent–it’s effective at repelling them too!
