Ozzy Snorts Ants was born from the necessity of its creator, Dave “Oz” Osborn. A business analyst by training (he doesn’t want to disclose his employer for privacy reasons), Oz was looking for an inexpensive source for hydrated silica gel beads. Oz tried to buy these beads online, but many of the sources he found required minimum purchases in excess of $1000 — that’s a lot of money! Given that Oz needed smaller quantities, his frustration level was off the charts. That’s when he decided to invest in a bucket, a bag and some baking soda — and the Ozzy Snorts Ants story began. One happy accident later, this entrepreneurial young man found a unique market niche — helping other people with limited budgets create their own DIY ant farms!

The product comes with two containers: one full of liquid and one full of powder. The liquid is applied directly to the ant hill or nest—and then once it dries up (this takes about an hour), it becomes invisible so that no ants can get back inside again! Once this happens, all you have left is a dry spot where your problem began—which means no more messes or sticky residue on your floorboards!

The other container contains cinnamon powder—this is sprinkled around areas where ants are likely to appear (such as near window sills). This will attract them into baiting stations where they’ll be trapped.
