Keep your kitchen clean.

If you want to get rid of cockroaches, the first thing you have to do is clean up your kitchen. Nobody likes a dirty kitchen and neither do roaches. If there’s food on the counter or in other parts of your kitchen, it will attract those nasty little bugs. Make sure that you’re cleaning up after yourself and having everything spotless when it comes time for dinner.

This means taking out the trash often so that roaches don’t find any leftovers from last night’s dinner (or even earlier). It also means not leaving dishes in water for long periods because this provides an environment for roaches to breed and thrive in, especially if they’re near sources like food or moisture such as grease or soap bubbles.*

Use baking soda and bay leaves.
