For this recipe, you’ll need to boil 8 oz. of water and let it cool for about 30 minutes. This will ensure that the water doesn’t burn the dog’s skin when applied, which would be a bad thing to do since you’re trying to help your furry friend feel better! After the water has cooled, pour it into a glass spray bottle and add the essential oils in according to our recipe above.

The reason we’re using a glass spray bottle is because plastic bottles can break down over time when exposed to essential oils—and then they’ll release those oils into whatever liquid they are holding at that point in time (which could be anything from cleaning products like vinegar or bleach).
